KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Former Queen Mother Ratna Rajya Laxmi Shah has been admitted to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali.

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: Former Queen Mother Ratna Rajya Laxmi Shah has been admitted to Norvic Hospital in Thapathali. The 97-year-old was hospitalized on Sunday evening after experiencing health concerns, specifically a chest infection.

Doctors report that while she is dealing with the infection, there are no serious complications at this time.

Ratna Rajya Laxmi Shah, the widow of former King Mahendra, continues to reside at Mahendra Manjil in Narayanhiti, even following former King Gyanendra’s departure from the palace.
