According to the organizer, the four-day event, which is being organized for the first time in Nepal, will feature 125 exhibitors and three thematic gazebos as well as nine special events. "The fair will showcase national, continental and international dishes as well as grains, pulses, flours, nuts, fruits, vegetables, dairy products; meat, poultry and fish products; processed foods such as pickles and snacks; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; organic and health food products; bakery and confectionary products and equipment; and kitchen utensils and equipment as well as restaurants and hotels, packaging equipment and machinery.
Speaking at a press meet on Sunday, Birendra Rajkarnicar, general manager of the organizing team, said the event is organized in acknowledgment of the remarkable growth that the sector has over the past decade. "The expo will be entertaining as popular singers and musicians are performing in the event," he added.
Events like Century Master Chef Challenge Preliminaries, Invenio Wine Tasting Workshop and Red Bull Club Entertainers Live, among others, will be organized on the sidelines of the expo, according to Rajkarnicar.
