NEW DELHI, March 18— Minister for Foreign Affairs Arzu Deuba Rana held a meeting with India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Tuesday on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Describing the interaction as “highly fruitful,” Minister Rana said the two reviewed the overall state of Nepal-India relations, taking stock of ongoing engagements across various sectors. “We discussed ways to enhance people-to-people and diplomatic exchanges and identified avenues for further strengthening cooperation,” Minister Rana said following the meeting.

During the talks, Minister Rana expressed appreciation for India’s Neighborhood First Policy and reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to giving continued priority to its relations with India.
The meeting comes as both countries continue to deepen their partnership in areas such as trade, connectivity, energy, and cultural exchanges.
Minister Rana is in New Delhi to participate in the Raisina Dialogue, India’s premier multilateral conference on global geopolitics and strategy, and is holding high-level meetings with several regional and global leaders on the sidelines of the event.
