Flood woes (Photo feature)

KATHMANDU, August 15: Floods caused by the incessant downpour across the country that inundated many human settlements have claimed lives of many persons.  They have disrupted transport system by destroying roads and bridges. In Some areas, Nepal Army had to use  a make-shift bridge to take relief materials to the victims. Even some wild animals such as a deer and a rhino fell prey to the torrents of water. After the floods disrupted the power supply,   people have been reduced to living in darkness at a night time. The pictures showing these scenarios are shown below:
