Fighting against all odds

Tenth grade students outside their tents in Kerauja VDC of Gorkha pictured last week. Around 45 students whose home villages are two to three hours walk from their school are living in tents near the school so that they don’t miss classes, which start at 8 in the morning. They complained that the living conditions in the tents are harsh especially due to the winter cold. There are no houses left standing in the vicinity after the recent earthquakes.
