Fake educational certificates, fake trainer

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against trainer Deepak Bohora from Bajhang for obtaining a government job by submitting fake educational certificates.

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against trainer Deepak Bohora from Bajhang for obtaining a government job by submitting fake educational certificates.


The charge sheet has been submitted to the Special Court in Kathmandu, accusing Bohora, who was working at Jalpa Secondary School under Jayapathivi Municipality.

The CIAA confirmed during the investigation that Bohora submitted a fake +2 certificate issued by the Higher Secondary Education Council for his appointment as an assistant trainer at the Jayapathivi Municipality office in Bajhang.


He obtained the status, position, benefits, and privileges of a government employee based on the fake certificate.


The CIAA filed a charge sheet against him, deeming his actions an offense under Subsection (1) of Section 16 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 BS, and requested a sentence of imprisonment and fines as per the same law.
