KATHMANDU, July 4: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Ganesh Karki has stated that expecting a “healthy verdict” from a “diseased” judicial system heavily influenced by politicians is a futile hope.
Taking to Facebook on Thursday, he wrote and urged not to hope for fairness. He also requested the general public to question political parties and their leaders to keep them in check.

Karki stressed that political parties must not be allowed to interfere in institutions such as schools, the bureaucracy, and the judiciary. He further remarked that the next political movement should aim to confine parties within constitutional boundaries. “Freeing the non-political structures of the state from party and leader-centric control is essential. Practicing the principle of separation of powers, which democracy advocates, must begin in action,” he added.
His statement follows the Supreme Court's verdict on July 2 regarding 52 constitutional appointments, a ruling that has sparked significant political and legal debate.
