KATHMANDU, May 21: The promotion committee on Tuesday recommended Nepal Police DIG Siddhi Bikram Shah for promotion to the rank of AIG.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak chaired the committee meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Shah also vied for the AIG position during the promotion round in Baisakh (mid-April to mid-May). The current AIG, Lalmani Acharya, will retire on May 24 after reaching the age limit.
