KATHMANDU, June 24: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Poshraj Pokharel has been recommended for promotion to the rank of Additional Inspector General (AIG) within the Nepal Police.

In a meeting held on Monday, the promotion committee recommended Pokharel for the position of AIG.
Currently, he is serving at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramsahpath, and has previously been stationed at the Police Headquarters, Women, Children, and Senior Citizen Services Directorate in Naxal.
