"I take the responsibility for bad results from a popular team like Three Star studded with famous players," the former assistant coach of the national team said. Three Star was held to 1-1 draw by Madhyapur Youth Association in the first match of Ncell Cup.
"I decided to leave the club during the tournament not with bad relations with the club," said KC who termed his two year tenure in club as golden period of his career.
"I got many big opportunities with the club during the two years and it was golden period of my career. There may be weaknesses in me thus I was unable to guide the club to knockout stage." However, with a match in hand Three Star still has a chance to make into next stage.
Under KC, Three Star won five titles. After his appointment at the club in August 2010, KC was in the limelight after Three Star won the British Gurkha Cup in December of the same year. It was the first major title for KC who was also declared the best coach of the tournament.
Under KC´s guidance, Three Star finished runner up in the last edition of British Gurkha Cup five months ago. He also guilded the team to the titles of Aaha Gold Cup, Budhasubba Gold Cup, Udaypur Gold Cup and Bhim Narayan Gold Cup.
KC also refuted that he would join any club immediately. "I don´t have plans to join any club immediately but I will not be leaving football," said KC and added Three Star was a number one club on the basis of its players, fans and the football environment.
