The 32-year-old Subedi died after a tree that fell during the storm hit a motorcycle she was pillion riding at Sano Bharyang. The motorcycle was heading towards Balaju from Swoyambhu, Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Bishwaraj Pokhrel.
Similarly, a fallen tree hit a parked taxi ( Ba 1 Ja 6912) near Bankali Gaushali, damaging the vehicle.
Meanwhile, flights to and from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) were disrupted for around half an hour, following the storm, the TIA-based Civil Aviation Office said. RSS
