KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subash Nembang on Sunday has expressed his concern over the growing dispute between the parties in Constitutional Committee and the dispute resolution subcommittee.

He urged the parties to solve the disputes through discussions. [break]

Speaking at the second annual meeting of Gorkha Communication Cooperatives, Nembang said that according to the seven point deal, the peace and constitution drafting processes should move ahead but the growing dispute in the subcommittee’s meeting has halted the processes.

Nembang mentioned that the problems had arisen when the political leaders could not take decisions on the issues in which the parties had already forged consensus in the committee meeting.

CA chair further added that there is no alternative to promulgate statute in stipulated time.
