Other Nepali boxers, Yukesh Nagarkoti and Uddabh Thapa were defeated on Sunday. Nagarkoti was defeated by Pakistani pugilist 22-19 in 56 kg category. In 75 kg, Thapa was defeated 17-9 by Mongolian player.
In the inaugural day on Saturday, all three Nepali boxers -- Sudesh Manandhar in 52 kg, Purna Bahadur Lama in 60 kg and Sudan Gurung in 69 kg -- were defeated in their first bout.
Asiang Games bronze medalist Deepak Maharjan is scheduled to fight on Monday. Altogether 134 boxers from 19 countries are competing in the event. Nepali team was undergoing training in Pakistan since last one month. Pakistan Boxing Association had arranged training for Nepali pugilist.
