KATHMANDU, May 2: The top leaders of the three parties--Unified CPN (Maoist), NC and UML concluded inconclusively on Sunday evening.
The meeting which was held at Radisson Hotel failed to yield any fruitful results, however, the leaders have vowed to sit for talks on Monday. [break]
"We are heading in the positive direction. There is an urgent need for bilateral talks to arrive at a conclusion," UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal informed.
The taskforce formed by the three parties briefed the top leaders on the contemporary political situation in the meeting.
Unified CPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC acting president of Shushil Koirala and UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal were present in the meeting.
