The competition will be held on September 9 and 10 at Cuppas Café itself.[break]
Prashakta Poudel, Managing Director of Cuppas Café, said that the event is going to be a friendly match and it is open to all age groups.
“At Cuppas, people usually come and play chess a lot. Thus, our customers encouraged us to organize a match, and this is how the idea came about,” she added.
She further said that it is not a big event and it will just be like an amateur game and more like a social match.
The competition is open to all. The registration fee to take part in the match is Rs 150 each.
The registration is going on and the deadline will expire on the noon of September 8.
