KATHMANDU, April 3: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested an Armed Police Force (APF) inspector with a bribe of Rs 40,000 in Dhanusha.
A team from the CIAA’s Bardibas office apprehended Inspector Okil Adhikari from Lalgadh of Mithila Municipality this morning.

Officials caught him red-handed while he was taking a bribe from a vehicle owner involved in soil and gravel filling works under the Kamala-Dhalkebar-Bagmati road construction project.
The CIAA had been monitoring Adhikari following complaints that he stopped vehicles, created unnecessary obstructions, and demanded bribes.
