All combatants and arms not brought to Shaktikhor

CHITWAN (Ratnanagar), June 8: Though the Unified CPN (Maoist) expressed commitment in public to camp all the combatants and arms used to provide security to Maoist leaders in third division in Shaktikhor, it has not yet been implemented in practice.



Only 32 combatants – five on last Sunday and 27 on Tuesday - have only been brought back to Shaktikhor division.[break]



Similarly, merely two dozen weapons they have been using have been entered into Shaktikhor cantonment.



Last week, the UCPN (Maoist) has decided to keep 106 combatants and 92 sets of weapon deployed for the security of Maoist leaders.



But now, only the combatants and weapons deployed for the security of Maoists Chairman Dahal have been brought here.



Talking to journalists reaching the cantonment, Santu Darai Parwana, a leader of combatants, declined to say where the combatants and their weapons are.



Though he informed that the combatants and weapons have been sent to different cantonments, it has come to the notice that dispute among the Maoist leaders is behind the thing.
