Agriculture ministry sees modest budget hike to Rs 57.48 billion

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has increased the budget for the Ministry of Agriculture for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) by 0.33 percent.

Presenting the budget for FY 2025/26 at the joint session of the federal parliament on Thursday, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel announced an allocation of Rs 57.48 billion for the Agriculture Ministry. This marks a modest rise from last year’s budget of Rs 57.29 billion.
