KATHMANDU, March 3: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula has registered his candidacy for the post of party president.
Sitaula reached party headquarters Sanepa this morning along with his supporters to register his candidacy.
Gagan Kumar Thapa registered his candidacy for the post of General Secretary while Umakanta Chaudhary filed his candidacy for the post of treasurer from Situala-led panel.

With the registration of Situala’s candidacy, three NC leaders have formally joined a race for party presidency.
Earlier today, party Acting President Ram Chandra Paudel registered his candidacy while senior leader Deuba had registered his candidacy for the post of party president Thursday.
