8th Global human development conference on cards

KATHMANDU, July 14: The 8th Global Human Development Conference is taking place in Nepal for the first time.



As in the past, the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) is organizing the conference to be held in Kathmandu from coming October 29 to November 2, it was informed at a press conference organized here on Saturday. [break]



As many as 400 participants from around 50 countries across the world will take part in the conference and the issues of innovative dialogue and appreciative inquiry in human rights and social works, said ICA-Nepal Chairperson, Dr. Tatwa Prasad Timilsina.



Earlier, the conference was held in Japan in 2008. ICA is a global network of 24 national ICAs in developing and developed countries.
