ILAM, Sept 21: A total of 76 prisoners at Illam jail have fallen sick since the last four days.
The inmates are suffering from high fever, headache, common cold and even vomiting.

According to jailer Pradeep Shrestha, those sick inmates are receiving medical treatment inside the prison collectively. “As it is not possible to take all of them to the hospitals away from the jail, we have called physicians to treat them,” Shrestha added.
Of 76, 72 are male while 4 others are female prisoners.
The jail with a capacity of holding 125 inmates has now been packed with 238 male and 23 female prisoners.
