KATHMANDU, March 11: Police have arrested a 33-year-old man from Kathmandu with a pistol, 10 rounds of bullets, and illegal drugs. Sudan Joshi, a resident of Gokarneshwor Municipality-2, was taken into custody on Monday night after authorities discovered the firearm, magazines, and contraband substances, including Tramadol tablets, during a search of his residence.
Police deployed from the Traffic Police Office, Swayambhu found the pistol and the drugs while searching Sudan's room and arrested him on Monday night.

Likewise, the Kathmandu District Court has extended Joshi's remand by five days for investigation.
Authorities have also revealed that Joshi has been arrested multiple times in the past for indecent behavior and drug-related offenses. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
