15-member team announced for Asia and East-Asia Pacific Qualifier

Out of the 16-member team, which had gone to UAE to play three match Twenty20 series against the West Indies,  Sahab Alam was not included in the team announced for the tournament, said CAN Spokesperson Chhumbi Lama.

KATHMANDU, Oct 3: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 15-member team for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia and East-Asia Pacific Qualifier. The International Cricket Council is organising the tournament in Oman from October 8.  



Out of the 16-member team, which had gone to UAE to play three match Twenty20 series against the West Indies,  Sahab Alam was not included in the team announced for the tournament, said CAN Spokesperson Chhumbi Lama.

Similarly, Sandip Lamichhane has been included in the team. Likewise, other members in the team are Captain Rohit Paudel, Vice-Captain Dipendra Singh Airee, Sanip Jora, Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Kushal Malla, Ashif Sheikh, Adil Alam, Karan KC, Nandan Yadavm Arif Sheikh, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Gulsan Jha, and Sompal Kami.


The team has already reached Oman to participate in the tournament, according to the CAN.
