KATHMANDU, May 8: The government has decided to remove 15 honorary consuls from their positions.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday took the decision, according to government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel.

He said the decision was made on the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to relieve 15 honorary consuls general and consuls serving in various countries.
The cabinet also decided to request President Ram Chandra Paudel to address the upcoming meeting of the Federal Parliament scheduled for 4 PM on May 11, Pokharel informed.
