Talking to Republica at Facebook, Sharad, said that he would join the team for full fledge training within a week."I am going under rehabilitation and everything will be ok within a week," said Sharad, who tore his ligament while running during the devastating earthquake in Nepal on April 25.
According to Sharad, he had been to India only after advice of doctors in Nepal.
Meanwhile, team coach Pubudu Dassanayake said that Sharad needed two weeks of rest. "He hurt his ankle and he needs to rest for two weeks," said coach Dassanayake.
Nepal is representing in the Qualifiers scheduled for July 9 to 26 in Ireland and Scotland, while two List A matches of the Championship against Scotland is slated July 29 and 31.
Before that Nepal will visit India for closed camp training for what Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a preliminary 22-member squad.
Nepal will also visit England and the Netherlands for further trainings.
Sharad, who helped Nepal to qualify for the ICC World Twenty20 held in Bangladesh, last year, has been one of the key members of Nepali team.
