Two cops injured in clash with students

JANAKPURDHAM (Dhanusa), Jan 12: Two police personnel were hurt when students at Mithileshwor Secondary School at Mauwahi in Dhanusa attacked them over a dispute today.

The dispute flared up when police tried to take under control the tensed situation that followed after students staged demonstrations, demanding action against school headmaster. Police also rained batons into the demonstration.


The students said that the head teacher should be dismissed, accusing him of embezzlement.

They also demanded that sitting teachers for science and social science should be dismissed. RSS
