Khem Rai, 40, and Shailesh Rai, 20, of Dorpa, Manoj Chaudhary, 21, of Gaighat, Yam Kumar Khadka of Chisapani and Laxmi Prasad Dhimal of Mattim were seriously injured in the accident, said district health office.
Driver Mintu Chaudhary has been absconding after the accident, police said.
The vehicle (Na 1 Ma 7445) was on its way to Diktel from Bhojpur district headquarters.
Similarly, four persons were injured after a bus hit another stationary bus in Siraha district on Friday night.
Janak Shrestha, 32, of Haraicha, Morang, Gyan Bahadur Basnet, 32, of Baleshwari, Dolakha, Subash Chauhan, 24, of Chisedanda, Khotang, and Medani Ghimire, 50, of Kathmandu-4 were injured in the incident.
Those injured were taken to Dharan for treatment. The passenger bus (Na 2 Kha 7235) was heading toward Biratnagar from Kathmandu.
