TB test certificate compulsory for SKorea visa aspirants

KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The government is planning to make a tuberculosis test mandatory for those willing to go to South Korea for more than 90 days.

Human Resources Department Korea, Nepal-based Korean embassy and EPS department under Foreign Employment Department Nepal are jointly planning to implement the rule.With the new rule, all the South Korean visa seekers should compulsorily apply along with TB test certificate with effect from March 2, said Director of EPS department Dilliram Bastola.

"Tuberculosis is considered as an infectious disease," Bastola added, "Korean Judiciary Ministry has issued the directive to this effect."
