Though the first issue of the weekly was published on Thursday to mark the New Year 2068 BS, the 32-page tabloid weekly under the editorship of senior journalist Kishor Nepal will hit newsstands every Friday from the coming week. [break]
The weekly targeted at youngsters will focus on arts, entertainment, politics, science and technology, business and economy and various aspects of life.
“It is the duty of a responsible media house to offer choices to readers as well as advertisers in the face of growing competition in the media industry in Nepal. Nepal Republic Media is aware of this responsibility,” said Managing Director of Nepal Republic Media, Binod Raj Gyawali.
Shukrabar is the third publication of Nepal Republic Media after Republica English daily and its sister publication Nagarik daily.
