KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Nepal Police Club registered second win in a row on Wednesday in the Second Pathibhara National Open Men's Volleyball Tournament being held in Taplejung.

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: Nepal Police Club registered second win in a row on Wednesday in the Second Pathibhara National Open Men's Volleyball Tournament being held in Taplejung.



Police overcame departmental rival Armed Police Force (APF) in straight sets (26-24, 25-17, 25-11) to record second win from as many matches played and earned six points.



Home team Eastern Region witnessed first win in the tournament being played in the round robin league.



Eastern Region had to wait until fifth set for victory over Central Region despite winning the first two sets (25-13, 27-25).



However, Central Region fought back for 25-22, 25-20 win in the following two sets. But Eastern Region was successful in the decisive set winning it 15-8.



Eastern Region earned two points while Central Region bagged one point for prolonging the match into fifth set.
