The Kathmandu Valley Protection Trust (KVPT) had got the responsibility for the reconstruction and completed it within one and a half year.[break]
The Kotpati is very important from a historical point of view which was used as a ´guesthouse´ during the Malla period.
Chief of the KVPT, Rohit Ranjitkar said that reconstruction work was completed at the cost of around Rs. 10 million.
