At a gathering of party cadres on Thursday evening, leader Gupta made it clear that he had to splinter party to institutionalize the achievements of Madhes movement with MJF (Nepal) becoming the tail of Maoists and Upendra Yadav the spokesperson of Dahal.[break]
Chairperson Gupta, who has come to Saptari first time after party breakaway, termed Constituent Assembly (CA) member BP Yadav, who was suspended in diplomatic passport misuse scam, the honest cadre of the party and accused that he was entrapped in the scam for raising voice against the autocratic tendency of Upendra Yadav.
Refuting the charge that he split party under the influence of cash, Gupta quoted one of the parliamentarian close to Upendra that he (Upendra) himself paid a high chunk of money to become ministers.
Upendra Yadav made a blunder when he protested the issue of integrating Madhesi people into Army, he argued.
Chairperson of newly-formed district committee, Ganga Ram Yadav presided over the meeting.
Chairperson of Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha Rajib Jha, spokesperson Gajendra Mandal and district coordinator Niraj Mukti, who have recently entered the MJF (Republican), said the state should address the problems of Madhes and Madhesi in a political manner.
They said there is no rational behind the armed struggle adding the Madhes problems can be resolved through peaceful political transformation.
