Nepal beats Maldives 5-0; enters semifinal

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Nepali skipper Jamuna Gurung scored a hat trick as Nepal women’s team defeated Maldives 5-0 to enter semifinals in second Saff Women´s Football Championship played at CR&FC Grounds in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Monday.



Deepal Adhikari scored a goal in the 19th minute of the game and Anu Lama doubled the tally in the 35th minute with another goal. [break]



Gurung netted the first goal in 59th minute, added another in 88th minute and completed her hat trick in an injury time.
