Nature guide dies in rhino attack in Bardiya, two others including US national injured

BARDIYA, Sept 5: A nature guide was killed, and two people, including a US national, were injured in a rhino attack in Madhuwan Municipality-6 of Bardiya. 

According to the Nepal Army, 36-year-old senior nature guide Man Mohan Chaudhary lost his life in the attack, which occurred at 8 AM on Friday during a "jungle walk" in the Dalla Community Forest, located in the central area of Bardiya National Park. 

Among the injured, the US national is receiving treatment at Bhurigaun Municipal Hospital, and both are reported to be out of danger, according to the Nepal Army. 

It is reported that Mick Landon stayed at Bardiya Homestay in Shivpur, Thakur Baba Municipality-9, on Thursday night.
