The keys of both the vehicles were handed over by NRM Director Shova Gyawali on Thursday in presence of Kishore Nepal, editor-in-chief of Nagarik Daily, and Kosmos Bishwokarma, editor-in chief of Republica Daily.
After receiving the award, Sundhara-resident Singh (receipt number 29489), said: “I´m very happy to be the lucky winner.” Maharjan, holder of receipt number 34227, said he couldn´t believe he won a scooter.
The scheme, under which a Nano car and a Mahindra scooter is given away to two lucky winners every month, is open to all who subscribe Nagarik Daily. The scheme, launched three months ago, also has a two-bedroom apartment at Bagmati Apartment of Baneshwar in offer.
