CHITWAN, April 5: A 10-year-old boy died after being hit by a bus in Nagarban Marg, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-3 in Chitwan.
The incident occurred at around 11 pm last night when a bus with registration number Ba Pra 06001 Kha 0492 was reversing for parking and struck Ires Ghosle, who had been staying by the roadside.

Ires, a resident of Anjangaun in Amrawati district, India, was critically injured in the accident. He was immediately taken to Bharatpur Government Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead at 11:25 pm.
Police have taken the bus involved in the accident into custody along with its co-driver, 25-year-old Prem Bahadur Nepali of Kawasoti Municipality-1, Nawalpur.
Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
