More than 200 vehicles escorted to their respective destinations

BIRATNAGAR, Sept 11: The security personnel have escorted 200 plus vehicles to their destinations last night. Those vehicles were long been stranded due to the shutdown enforced by the United Democratic Madheshi Front and Tharuhat Front in various districts in the eastern region.

As many as 35 oil tankers and 109 passenger buses stranded at the Nepal Oil Corporation Biratangar office were escorted up to Nimuwa in Sunsari, according to the District Police Office, Morang.

Similarly, a total of 117 passenger buses arriving from the western part of the country were received safely. While many of those buses were sent to their destinations, some were learnt to be stationed at a secured place in the district. RSS
