At a meeting held at NC President’s residence at Maharajgunj Sunday morning, the two leaders urged each other to extend support to the prime ministerial candidate field by their respective parties. [break]
According to NC central member Arjun Narsingh KC, President Koirala put his stance that the NC could not accept the government led by the U-CPN (Maoist) until they severed their ties with weapons and combatants.
Dahal called for support from the NC chief Koirala arguing the Maoist leadership in the government is necessary to conclude the ongoing peace process.
