Rekha Ghimire turned in a scorecard of five-under 67 to finish runner-up. Bhairaja Pandey scored four-under 68 to claim third in the tournament after defeating Sumod Bastakoti on the count back.
Ang Tshiring Sherpa scored five-over to clinch the best gross title. The tournament was played under stoke play format with full handicap.
After the tenth edition, 20 players have qualified for the finals of the Handicap Championship of the Gokarna Golf Club.
Pun wins at RNGC
Lakshman Pun won the first edition of the Ballantine´s Monthly Medal Golf Tournament 2012 / 13 on Saturday at the Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC).
Pun scored 63 points while KC Gurung finished the tournament as the runner-up with 65 points.
Prajwalla SJB Rana remained on the third position based on count back with a score of 68. The monthly medal will be played until 10th editions. RNGC President Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha gave away the prizes to the winners. Altogether 28 golfers participated in the tournament.
