Jha espressed regrets for his remarks at a press meet in Janakpur last week, drawing severe criticism in the party´s politburo meeting that concluded Thursday. "Jha´s issue has been resolved today [Thursday] as he realized his mistake and said that his intention was not to blame the leaders," said a politburo member.
While Jha is close to party chair Jhala Nath Khanal, Mahaseth and Yadav are considered close to KP Oli.[break]
The politburo meeting also formed four taskforces to resolve several disputes in the party. The party formed a taskforce headed by General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel to ament the party statute, regulations and political report presented in the meeting.
Likewise, a taskforce has been formed to resolve the dispute in Kathmandu where two parallel committees -- one backed by party establishment and another by Oli -- are operational.
Another taskforce has been formed to settle disputes in Dhanusha and Mahottari districts. Keshav Badal and Mukunda Neupane are members of the team. Rajendra Pandey and Chhavi Lal BK are entrusted with resolving the controversies in Bara and Parsa districts.
The politburo meeting also decided that the party chairman and general secretary prepare a proposal on the work divisions of the leadership after consulting with politburo members and to forward it to the central committee meeting that is scheduled to start on February 17.
