KATHMANDU, March 4: LP gas industrialists have withdrawn their protest after reaching a 5-point agreement with the government.
Following a four-hour long discussion today (Tuesday), an agreement was reached between the government and the Nepal L.P Gas Association (NLPGA), including an increase in the price of gas by Rs 12.75.
As a result of the agreement, the price of LPG gas has risen from Rs 1,910 to Rs 1,922.75 per cylinder. The agreement to withdraw the protest was reached after discussions between government representatives, including Govinda Bahadur Karki, the secretary at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and industrialists.
