According to Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s press and research adviser Dipa Dahal, the government moved quickly to form the panel as part of its commitment to good governance and protection of state revenue.

She said the committee has already begun on-site investigations where the vehicles were seized.

“As the number of vehicles is large, detailed verification of customs and revenue-related documents will take some time,” Dahal said, urging patience until the investigation is completed.

She added that the government remains committed to strengthening the economy and ensuring strict law enforcement.
