KATHMANDU, June 17: Gold and silver prices edged down slightly in the domestic market on Wednesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold fell by Rs 1,200 per tola, while silver declined by Rs 10 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 297,300 per tola, while silver is priced at Rs 4,980 per tola for the same unit.
On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 298,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,990 per tola, showing a modest day-to-day correction.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,349 per ounce, while silver stands at around USD 70 per ounce, according to international media reports.
