In this regards, the meeting of Constitutional Political Dialogue and Consensus Committee (CPDCC) has been summoned for Tuesday evening. Spokesperson of CA Secretariat Mukunda Sharma said the CPDCC meet, which has failed to convene since around five months, has been slated for 5 pm this evening.
The CA meet will send the accord inked between major parties to the committee after taking its ownership.
Few opposition parties have been protesting the agreement. The onus lies on the CPDCC to appease them.
After the committee forges agreement, the report will be tabled at the CA. Two separate reports will be presented at the CA if no consensus.
Then, such disputed issues will settled though voting process. There is provision to send the settled issues to the drafting committee.
