The program is now mired in political mess and woefully inept record-keeping. Data on the entrepreneurs has not been updated for several years.

KATHMANDU, Sept 18: The government has banned the use of mercury dental amalgam. The Ministry of Health and Population, through a minister-level decision on August 21, had issued a ban on the mercury dental amalgam last month to make the practice of dentistry free from the use of mercury.
