KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday said that the government will provide a total of Rs 500,000 each to the earthquake victims. According to him, out of the total amount, Rs 300,000 would be provided as a grant and Rs 200,000 as a public collateral loan.

KATHMANDU, Sept 5: The Supreme Court on Sunday declined to issue an interim order in response to a writ petition against the decision of the incumbent government to withdraw the recommendation of seven individuals by the previous government for appointment as ambassadors to various countries. The writ petition was filed by the seven recommended individuals.
