KATHMANDU, March 13: A day after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, a meeting of the lower house on Thursday decided to suspend parliament for eight days.

KATHMANDU, March 12: As a part of government's precautionary measures against coronavirus, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has asked all 753 local levels not to organise and engage in major gatherings including feasts and celebrations.
