Global coronavirus cases rise above 13 million

LONDON, July 13: Global coronavirus infections passed 13 million on Monday, according to a Reuters tally, marking another milestone in the spread of the disease which has killed more than half a million people in seven months.

LAMJUNG, July 13: Two houses were swept away by a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at Madhya Nepal Municipality-6 in the district this morning. Devi Kunwar and Bam Bahadur Kunwar lost their homes to the disaster, said a local Ram Chandra Poudel. Similarly, four other houses were buried in the disaster.

Stocks then wavered around the opening level in the latter trading hours as Nepse ended slightly higher. The benchmark added 2.12 points to close at 1,342.40 points.
