Investigation committee formed to study aviation sector of Nepal

KATHMANDU, Sept 30: The government has formed an investigation committee to make the country's air service more robust, safe and effective. A meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also in charge of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, formed a five-member investigation committee under the coordination of Joint Secretary Buddhisagar Lamichhane at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

KATHMANDU, Sept 29: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) saw strength in the morning on Wednesday with the index climbing around 30 points. Following a dip, the benchmark fell around 35 points to hit an intraday low of 2,580. Nonetheless, stocks continued to register a steady advance in the latter trading hours with the index ending 50.58 points higher at 2,665.94.
