Also, editor Richa Sharma sat down with her and went through the work’s characterization, language, cultural aspects and factual interpretations. “She has fulfilled the lack of Nepali literature in English language.”

The author explores a teenager’s romance and love for the nation. It creates suspense as well as it inspires youth.

Monica is a teenage fiction that narrates a story of a girl born and lavishly raised in Singapore who is faced with difficult circumstances, yet she moves on.

Several media personalities, such as event manager Prabhat Rimal, Manoj Kumar KC, 1974 AD member, Chirag Bangdel, artist, writer, poet and RJ, and Malvika Subba, former Miss Nepal, actor and entrepreneur reviewed the novel and gave their positive remarks.

They also graced the event to congratulate Shiwani.

Shiwani had writing hobby since childhood. “I’ll not embrace a career as a writer but keep it as a hobby,” she said.

Her mother, Laxmi Neupane, said, “I believe in her and support her hobby. Her writing will definitely not hinder her career and we as her parents are proud of her.”
